Songs

A good song is one that tells you a story.

It seems to be telling you your life story.

It stir up something deep inside you.

It open doors which you have closed before.

Suddenly, things seem clearer to you.

Suddenly, you feel more confused.

Stupid People (Part One)

Finally, I decided to blog about some of the most stupid people I've met in the streets. Well, i lack the courage to yell," STUPID" in their faces so i am going to write it down here, where you people can judge how stupid someone can be. Ha! I am so going to have fun dissing them.
I think most of us have met this kind of stupid people when we take public transport. They are those kind who held up queues when they keep rubbing the ez-link card reader all over with their bags, trying to get their damn ez-link cards scan. To make things worse, those card readers on buses emit a high pitch beeping sound whenever there are errors when people rub the machine up the wrong way (pun intended). It IRRITATES me!! Why can't they bloody take out their ez-link cards and scan the reader instead of fumbling here and there, making a big fool out of themselves? Haven't we all survive perfectly when the ez-link card has not been invented yet? The person who invented that must be living in his own perfect world where lazy, and deaf, people do not exist.
After looking at www.parkingidiots.blogspot.com and their labels for idiots who park like their grandfathers own the carpark, I feel that maybe we should also create some labels for those stupid think-that-they-will-die-before-they-scan-the-card-using-their-hands kind of people. Grrr..I get so frustrated everytime I met these people.

..............................................................

Yesterday I went to Marina Square to play pool and I met the most fucking rude pool manager. The bloody monkey-looking manager with the dirty, brush-like goatee just pissed me off with his attitude. We stood in front of the counter for around 15 mins and he totally ignored us!! Do we look invisible to you? "Hello, Ah Seng from Marina here... Yada yada yada..." He continued his phone call without acknowledging us. Ya, his name is Ah Seng. Wow, what a nice name. *Snigger* Poor ah zek, with such a name to match it off with his face. What are his parents thinking?
Really, he has the worst attitude in the sales industry! I feel like sticking a pool cue up his flaring nostrils. Hmm.. That's a good idea.. Maybe he will look at me then since there are no eye connection when he finally turn his attention to us. Fugly man.. Spoil my mood for the pool session.. Next time if any of you visit the poolroom at Marina Square, help me say "Hi" to him by waving middle fingers at him k? By the way, a word of advice, you have to stick the pool cue up his nose first to get his attention.

Hurt By His Stupidity

Ya, I'm hurt. Hurt by his words. Just a simple "orh" to agree to what someone said. Never defend, never question, never consider, never feel.. Just agree like that. Yea, fine, whatever. You know, I once thought that if we are to become an item, what I care most about what the others say would be the very thing you agreed on. So I guess, either one of us will have to change then. I rather it be me. Well, if you want to spend your time finding work, then I guess I can spend my time changing. I can wait for you (that is if I want to) and you can wait for me. Fair and square. Yea, I'm pissed....

.......................................................................

I am sooooo stressed in my work!! Whatever that I came up with are not good enough to my boss. I'm really at my wits end because I really squeeze out whatever that I can find but still my boss is not satisfied. What am i to do?! I want to cry already. Sometimes, when I made telephone calls, I can see strands of hair falling down. Serious! I also realised something unpleasant. Your work performance can be affected by 3rd parties. Sure, I like to hand in my work in the shortest time but due to the aliasing with a third party, I have to wait for him/her to finish him/her work before I can hand in mine. It is so sucky! I prided myself on my efficiency and I don't like people to affect me and spoil my "reputation". I also don't like to keep calling and rush whoever that person is because I'm sure that he/she is also irritated. I tried to help whatever I can on my side and I hope that person will do just the same. *Sigh I don't know... I'm feeling very vexed by being so out of control... *SCREAMS I want to present top quality work!!

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered

I guess it is not so easy to say forget and really forget. I still think about him, especially the night in the pub. In fact, I dreamt of him nearly every night. It’s getting kind of scary when I never dreamt of anyone every night before. I guess I really have to make myself real tired so that I can stop thinking about him.
Is money that important? I guess so. My brother once told me that money can give a guy confidence. Well, I heard from my friend who heard it from someone else that he is going to have a stable job first before he is going to do anything. I was quite surprised when I first heard it. Secretly I was pleased. At least this proves that he is a mature guy and he do have plans for his future. Seriously, I do not know what I am feeling right now. Sometimes, I hope that he will not take any actions. This way, our friendship will last forever. Besides, I like the group and I hope things between me and him won’t make me lose the friendships that I have made within these few weeks.
……………………………………………………
I just went back to my Secondary School yesterday. The reason? To collect my O-Level Certificate! It had been collecting dust in my School for 4 years! And all the time I thought it was lost. Lucky I called my secondary school first to ask for replacement. I also realize that some of us also did not go back to collect the certs. To Commonwealthians out there, please check if you still have your O-Level cert with you.
…………………………………………………….
Anyway, I realize that nowadays no one bothered to leave any comments in my blog. Is it because of my constant ramblings about him? Or no one even bothered to read anymore.

Cooling Down..

Guess a lot of my close friends must be wondering how did it go on last friday. Well, that was a major turning point in my story. It seems like whatever that I felt for him is gone. It struck me when I was the least prepared (at Pulau Ubin) but when I expected a lot on friday, nothing happened. No butterflies in my stomach, no chemistry, no flashes (I watched too much drama), nothing. You know, they always say, strike the metal when it's hot. I'm like that piece of metal, thing is I get hot easily and the downside is that I cool off damn easily too. He did not strike when the metal is hot and now, the fire that flamed it has gone.
Maybe it was the way he dressed on friday too. I like my guy to be well-dressed. A simple white tee and bermudas is enough for me. But it is kind of disappointing when I saw what he wore that night. *Sigh* Am I superficial? I guess I am....
I'm quite scared now. I am feeling a lot of pressure. I've not only have to be responsible to him but to his friends too. They all rallied around him and I had already shown that I was a little interested in him. but now, what am I going to say? I had a dream last night. I dreamt that I was in a car on my way to the ROM. I was wearing a white wedding gown and sitting beside me is the groom. (It is not him. I do not know who the heck is the groom and how he entered my dream. Scary.) I kept asking the groom," Are you going to regret this? Do you really like me?" And he kept assuring me that he do. But I can see that he is not happy. In the end, when we reached the ROM, he suddenly turned to me and say he cannot go through this with me. I was RELIEVED. I realised I also cannot go through this with him. Is this dream a premonition?
I do not know whether the feelings will come back. I'm one who's attracted to sense of security. That is why I want to date older guys. They are able to provide me with the sense of security that comes with maturity. Maybe that is why I was swoon away on the night we were at the pub. I felt secured when he steadied me, when he helped me to drink (because someone was sabotaging me), when he saved me from being drunk. Maybe that is why....
Well, I'll see what is going to happen in the future. Maybe I'll be a spinster all my life. I just can't like somebody long enough. The only time I like someone for two long years and he fell for my best friend. But that is another story for another time.

Memories

Happy memories can keep one happy, yet it can make one feel empty. Yup, that is what I'm feeling nowadays, Memories of what happened kept repeating in my mind. Sometimes I blushed, sometimes I giggled a little, sometimes I touched my cheek, sometimes I thought things smell of you, sometimes I felt your warmth.... And yet, when reality sets in, you're nowhere to be seen or heard.
I really want to know what is going through your mind? You told me a lot of things that night, are those memories holding you back? Have you taken a step out of it? Are you still drowning in your past memories?
I thought things might proceed from that day onwards but somehow I still feel stuck. I really need to know what is going on.
I don't know what I'm feeling for you right now. Am I falling for you? I don't know.. Do you want to know? Or will friday night be just part of memories for you and me?

13th May Saturday

I went to a few interesting places recently. Due to work, I have to travel to the Supreme Court and the China Embassy. When I went to the Supreme Court, to tell you the truth, I was quite nervous about entering such a solemn place. When I was there, I saw the famous Indian lawyer, whom I believe is the defendent lawyer of the Ah Took for the Huang Na's case. I thought, woah, there is going to be a important hearing today. As I was thinking, suddenly I saw a camera facing me. Bloody hell! It was the tv crew! I hope that I was not being filmed down. Did any of you saw me on the news? *Concern* Anyway, when I reached level 4, where the Singapore Academy of Law is located, I saw A LOT of people waiting outside the court rooms. I heard from an uncle that this hearing was for the Liu Hong Mei's court case. She was the China woman who was murdered and chopped up by her secret lover. That explains why there was a crowd. I didn't know Singaporeans are so "concerned" to rush down to the court by 8am to listen to the court hearing. (They are mostly retired uncles and aunties and this also explains why there was a crowd.) It reminds me of the Roman matches where Romans gathered at the Colosseum to watch a man fight against a wild beast, eg lion. Seems that people still have taste for blood.
................................................................................................

I finally went to Ubin yesterday. It's been a year since I last set foot on Ubin. Things have changed. The jetty at Singapore has upgraded and there are staffs to organise the boarding of the boats. The toilets have been upgraded. There are more eateries. They are building a watch tower at Chek Jawa. Ubin has lost one of the two remaining wild boars on the island. Ubin is going to lose its flavour once it becomes modernise. I guess it is like a see-saw, you can never get a balance.
Yesterday it was the first time I met up with my colleage, Maggie's, friends. Our group has a wide range of ages. From age 17 to 40! So I was quite scare I might not fit in. But in the end it was enjoyable to be with them because they are friendly and crack the wildest jokes. The guys are also gentlemanly. I like guys who are gentleman. *Smiles* Well, here's some of the photos we took.

On the way there...

One of the many rests we took.

Meet Jack. He's the sole survivor. Be honoured.

We thought we are not going to leave the island alive. That is until Superman arrives. Look at how happy we smiled. He's our hero.

Now I'm back in good old clean, modernise Singapore and I'm starting to miss Ubin. The air, the smell, the habitants, the rides, the companionships....

......................................................................

I'm so confused. I'm scare it might be a big joke.

I'm so HYPED UP!

I'm so hyped up! I’ve just finish watching “So you think you can dance?” and I'm feeling so excited! To see the way they dance, phew, they just blew me away. I want to swirl, jump, leap, spilt, shake my booty like them! How I wish I had taken dancing lessons when I was young. Right now, I feel like waltzing my way to a dance studio for lessons. We were waltzing together, to a dreamy melody. Yeah, if I was to dance, I want to waltz.
Another news that got me jumping is that my dad is going to GET A CAR!! *Cheers!* I'm so happy! After 10 years without the comfort of a personal car, I am so looking forward to having our own four wheels drive again. And…. *grins devilishly* I'm going to get my license and slowly….and slowly, the car will be MINE! *Cackles wildly* But nah, unless my dad decides suddenly to become so generous, it is a far fetch dream of mine.
Well, the final news that gets my adrenaline pumping is that I’ve decided to go to Perth! Yea!! At first I thought I'm going to Hong Kong with my clique but in the end, due to various reasons, it seems that there is only me and Birdie going. So since there’s only the two of us, we decided to go to Perth! It will be my first time taking a flight longer than 1 hour (the last time I took a flight was when I was in primary school and I went to Penang) and I’ll be leaving Asia! Woohoo! Although I'm damn excited about this trip, I wish the rest of the girls will be joining us…

This and that

I've haven been blogging for a long time. It's not that I do not want to blog but I’m just plain L-A-Z-Y. Sometimes things happen to me and I go, "I must blog about this!" But in the end, I did not even want to switch on the computer out of plain laziness.
Finally, I force myself to seat down and here I am, writing furiously away. Well, there must be something to look back to when I’m old right? =p
Anyway, I sign up for the teaching degree in NTU. Guess who help me with the appraisal? My 2nd director! I think that I’m real lucky to enter this company. My 2nd director even offer to help me secure bank loans if I need the money to study overseas. I was really touched when he offer to lend a helping a hand. Not like that bitch who kicked me in the face last year when I received my results.
There are a lot of things that happen to me everyday but right now, I just can’t think of any interesting to put down. Oh ya! I have just discover, there are things such as nails mask, eye lashes vitamins, liquid to drop into the space between your nails and tip of your finger to prevent fungal growth, scalp lotion, etc etc. I did not know I have to get so busy to maintain my looks! They say there are no ugly girls on earth, only lazy ones. I say there are no ugly girls on earth, only poor ones! The money we pour into the cosmetic line! Seriously, I rather spend my time sleeping than doing all the facial, firming and what have you. I really admire those girls who go through such daily regime. Maybe I will be enthusiastic for the first few weeks but once the novelty wore off, I will be back to my sloppish and lazy ways. Anyway, I want to be reborn as a guy next time. No more of these nonsense then! *Cheers* But then again, maybe 20-30 years down the road, the guys will be doing facials, firming and the rest of the crap. *Shudders*
Well, think I’ll just stop here. Can’t think of anything to write. Maybe I should blog more next time. *Smile sheepishly* When I'm not so lazy…..

Happy 20th Birthday to ME!

I finally hit the big "2"! Life really passes very fast! I was in primary four ten years ago and now I'm applying for university already. Times flies. Can't help feeling happy and sad at the same time. Happy that I've grown up and sad that I must leave my childhood behind and embrace this world where people are not as happy, carefree, honest, naive, etc etc.
Anyway, I have lots of photos taken from my birthday celebrations! Yes, it's celebrations with a 's'. Can't help it, I'm so popular.. *Smug look* Haha!

Huli: Girl, I can't help but be amazed at your creativity. The fish is so cute! (Though I don't like the red veins in the eyes. My eyes are not like that k? I accidentally scratched my eyeball, leaving a red line.) Feel like giving you a kiss too!

Birdie: I also wanna thank you for letting me talk non stop during the first few weeks of work when I had no one to talk to during office hours. You've kept me sane during that time. *Hugs* I'm so glad that you're going to stay until June! Now, there will be someone for me to tease all the way to June, thank you Dippo!!

Jaws: Ahh, a poet. Did you write that poem yourself? And that picture of Elvin is sooo nice! *Laughs* I also hoped that when we qi lao ba shi, we're still very fast friends. Pray hard. I remembered that time when we were in Birdie's house making cheese cake, we were in the kitchen while ah bun and xiao pang were in the living room entertaining the kids and I wish at that point of time, that when we are really qi lao bai shi, we will hold these kind of gatherings where we will bake cakes, gossip, while Ah Bun and Xiao Pang will take care of our kids in the living room. A nice dream...

Jia Yu: Thank you for the cd! It's real sweet of you and I LOVE the songs inside! I know about the troubles that you faced last year and I'm glad that through your determination, you have solved most of them and I'm proud of you! I think I will just go into pieces if I were you. But next time, don't keep all your troubles to yourself, ya? Like I said before, talk it out and the seven of us can discuss how to solve the problems. Having seven brains beat having just one right? =)

Ah Bun: Your handwriting is as challenging as ever! Luckily I have lots of experience reading your handwriting. *Laughs* I want to thank you for thinking so highly of me! I don't think that I'm that good, really. But it's nice when someone think like that of you. *Smiles* Next time when my mum cooks a lot of food, I will definitely ask you and Xiao Pang over since both of you request the same thing! My mum will be flattered...

Xiao Pang: You make me LAUGH like I never did before!! The photoshop picture of us, my god, they are really horrendous! I'm glad we don't look like that in real life. *Laughs* Thank you for splattering your notes with pictures of Elvin! It makes reading your words a little distracting though. Keke! I also feel like crying when I saw what you had wrote. Words just can't describe how thankful I am to have as my friend.

Flirty and Flithy Old Men

An old man tried to flirt with me!! Well, I think it's hardly surprising because I doubt that even old man will be able to resist my charm. *Pouts* Haha! Seriously I think that most old men are "flirty" or rather, very ji go bei (pervertic). Haven't they realise by now that unless they're rich, no girls will give a damn about them? No matter how gentle they speak to us, how they look us in the eyes, how they smile, it only stir up queasiness in us and not interest, not even a teeny drop of it! Argh! I still feel so disgusted the moment I thought of how that old man tried to flirt with me! Hello uncle, I can only see lust in your eyes and a pervertic smile! Stop it! Otherwise I don't know what I'll do next time!

.....................................................................................

First is the flirty uncle, which I consider is the milder case of the two. I'm really unlucky this week to bump into two thick skinned and deprived uncles! I was on my way to work on wednesday morning when I met the flithy one. let's named him "Mr Weak", I will explain why later on.
I was dozing off on the bus when the bus suddenly jerked and something soft press against my arm. I opened my eyes and saw this uncle, Mr Weak, standing beside my seat, facing me. I thought it was an accident that he bumped into me and I just let it passed. BUT this incident kept repeating over and over again throughout the bus journey! I was so damn pissed! I almost ALMOST stood up, grabbed his collar and yelled at him! But I realised that although he kept using his front to bump into me, it feels soft and not hard. Two senarios pop into my mind and I sort of pitied Mr Weak.
1) His belly is blocking the way. Thus, whenever he bump into me, I only feel his soft beer belly instead of his p*nis. Thank god! Now I know why middle age man develop belly. The creator of man( not neccesarily god) must had devise this way to protect young girls like me. Smart work, whoever you are!! So girls, next time don't despise those with beer bellies, those extra layer of fats protects you!
2) Mr Weak lives up to his name. If that is the case, he really needs to see the doctor or take Viagra. If he knocked into me so many times and yet his "brother" is still asleep, Mr Weak really deserves some sympathy. Don't you think so? *Sighs*
In case you want to know, I switched my seat after a few stops. I had no intention to wait for Mr Weak's brother to wake up.

Work Is Depressing

Ok, I'm gonna sound stupid in this entry. Damn, work is depressing! I have no one to chat and I need to talk! I just cannot stand loneliness. Well, as if knowing my need to talk, boss instruct me to call up clients and update their particulars. *Screams* I'm TERRIFIED of calling strangers up! Other than this aspect of work that is killing me, the high heels I'm wearing to work is also killing me, literally. I really admire those girls who strut around in their high heels with no pain registered on their faces. What kind of Kung Fu did they learn?! Sign me up please! My feet looks like octopus tentacles! You know those suckers thingies on the tentacles? My blisters are beginning to look horribly like those suckers! Never realise that blisters can grow up to that size. My god, work is depressing!
*Sighs* Going to write down my office resolutions now.
1) You're going to act cheerful and greet everyone politely in the morning.
2) You're going to speak loudly so that they can hear you and greet back.
3) Let the blisters burst and heal and form and burst and heal and... Someday you're going to acquire that Kung Fu of wearing heels.
4) Do not stutter in front of ur caucasian boss. Heck, he speaks english fluently but that doesn't make him more superior. Can he speak chinese? At least you speak two languages! Ha!
5) Don't be so painfully shy! Learn from xiao pang! Haha!
6) Learn not to make careless mistakes and ask less questions. I know you're getting irritated to have to keep asking questions, not to mention ur superiors.
7) Try to be less stress. Getting stomachache every morning is a bad sign.
8) Get something to drink! Don't be so polite! I know you're very thristy though u don't talk much.
9) Speak slower on the phone and sound more confident. It's not about the tenses and grammer but about the confidence.
10) Talk to that cute IT guy.
Enjoy my work.. Enjoy my work.. ENJOY MY WORK!

From Boys To Men

My little brother has grown up. Finally it is his turn to protect our country.
Went to send him off to be enlisted in the Special Operation Tactic Center yesterday. They prepared a programme to ensure the parents that their sons are in good hands so not to worry too much about them. I must say that the orientation programme does lessen my worries about sending my brother to become a commando. At first they showed us a video about NS life with a male singer crooning to some corny song about protecting the country in the background. Then we tour around the army facilities and I must say that the army really do look after the soldiers welfare. Their gym is really impressive and their food, though ordinary, doesn't look like what one of my older friend told me. Once, my chicken was half cooked and there was still blood in it. I once drank water that taste like detergent. Blah blah blah... And my dad also took the chance to complain, or show off, about his torturing NS days. To hear him go on, it seems that he slept on bed of nails, had faeces for meals, sadistic officers, used his head to clean toiletbowls... *Laugh* I can't help exaggerating lar.
When it's time to say goodbye, I realised that chinese family is not well-known for public affections even when they yearn to. I only gave my bro a squeeze on the shoulders. My mum, ha!, shook his hand! Made me laugh out loud. My brother, seeing this unusual form of saying goodbye, made it funnier by wishing her happy new year! Weird family...
I can see that my brother is excited about his national service. After all, this spells a new chapter in his life. He will go through something that was not taught and experienced during his school days. I guess us, girls, will never have the chance to gain those experiences. Pity..

The Pink Sky

I saw a breathtaking sight just now. I was using the computor, feeling decidedly bored when my brother walked into my room and said, " Look at the sky". I turned and saw that our neighboorhood is bathed in pink! The light cast a pinkish glow on everything. The blocks of flats, the trees, the cars... Even though I was sitting just next to my window playing the computor, I didn't realise that there's something so beautiful just right outside.

Sometimes, we are so caught up with our life that we miss out on the very things that make life worth living. Maybe it's time we slow down and look around us. Who knows, maybe the most amazing thing is just right beside you. =)

Food Review

Ahh, here's something I will enjoy writing about. FOOD!
This restaurant ranked top in my list of favourite restaurants. It is the Tokyo Garden restaurant located at The Village, South Buona Vista road. My family has been patronising this Japanese restaurants once every 2 to 3 months, simply because the food rocks and the service is warm. The sashimi moriwase is the best I ever tasted for the the fish slices are very fresh and is slice thinly so it just melts in your mouth. The potato salad and chawamunshi are also must try! The food are also very carefully arrange on the dishes to look delectable. Anyway, I took some photos of some of the dishes we ordered yesterday.

Actually these are not the best dishes that we ate yesterday. The trouble is that once the food came, we sort of forget (or choose to ignore) to take pictures of the sashimi, yaki seafood ramen, the japanese tofu and the sesame ice-cream, etc, etc. By the way, I love the sesame ice-cream! It's so different and nice, taste a bit like peanuts but still different. It is something the chef whips up himself. *Drools*
Anyway people, if you feel like having japanese crusine, you can check this place out! Good food and good service are the reasons why it attracts my family to keep returning!

(p.s. Xiao pang, it's not guys lar.. Haha! But still your favourite?)

The Sleeping Illness

Do you know what's my biggest enjoyment during the exam periods? It is sleeping. It is the time when I can forget all about the stupid maths formulas which are useless in real life, the theories about why such and such happen, GP arguments, etc etc. Thus, I really look forward to sleeping everyday and even daydream about sleeping my days away after my exams.
However, now, (what the hell!) I'm suffering from insomnia! It pisses me off! Finally I have the time to sleep and I can't! So I began asking around and even surf the net for solutions. Here's 4 of them which I tried and, sadly, I declare them useless.
1) The typical "count the sheeps" method. It's boring, dry, dull, blah blah.. And you need to have a good memory for doing this. "1, 2, 3, this is stupid, 4, 5, ..., 150, can't believe I'm doing this, now is it 151 or 152? Heck! 153, 154, 155, 156, I'm getting angry, why am I not sleeping? Isn't method suppose to work? Now where am I?!" See, this happen to me so I declare this method, DUMB!
2) Drink a glass of warm milk before you sleep. But damn! Eating before sleeping makes you FAT! Next!
3) Listen to music. Rock music is definitely out in this case. Woodwinds or lullabies may do the trick but the way the singers croon and whine irritates me. Solution: switch off the radio and continue to sulk.
4) Go to bed only when drowsy. Duh!
What to do? What to do? Make me sleep!

This past year

How do I begin? I have stopped updating my entry for this past year, trying to get my life back. I never thought such unhappiness would descent upon me. I thought all along that i will be able to sail through my life. Enter a secondary school, then to a junior college, graduate from university and then get a good job. But now I realise that life don't always turn out to be what you expected it to be.
It's hard to be left behind. It's hard to want to cry but can't coz I know that crying won't help. It's hard to enter a class who knows that you are left behind. It's hard to bear the jeerings.
So what can I do? In the end, I refuse to write down what had happen to me during this year. I remembered this conversation with anita:
Anita why have u stopped writing your diary?
Me I do not like writing about unhappy stuffs.
Anita Then write about good stuffs! There should be happy stuffs to write about right?
I had no answer for her
I guess life will never be the same for me again; never felt such insecurities before.

That Darn Job

Think some of you must have known that I'm waiting for the Vet opposite my house to call me. For those who don’t know, I thought of working for the Vet opposite my house so I can save on the transportation fees and because of all the dogs I can get to see and touch if I get to work there. Well, when my friend and I got down to ask whether they want to hire any part-timers, they tell us to call their operation manager. That’s last week and now, the manager is always not there or she’s too busy to answer my call whenever I called. Argh! I'm getting so frustrated! There’s a lot of things I can’t give an answer to my friends because I don’t know if I'm working by that time. And I don’t like the way this job hunting drags on. It’s a waste of time and money!!

Sometimes I really wondered. We are friends for quite some time already and why some still don’t understand me. My character, my moods, my thinking… Did circumstances bring us together or did fate?

All About Being Single

Well, I don't really know how to start writing this but I think I’m going to be real straightforward about this. So, not beating around the bush, I'm going to tell everyone about my feelings now.
I think most of you know that I haven't step into any boy-girl relationships before. Well, some may think that it's weird that somebody can manage to stay single for so long. If I can choose, of cause I will not choose to remain single. But it's very difficult to develop mutual feelings for each other, at least in my case. So I remain single till now.
However, the thing is, I’m not unhappy or unsatisfied! Serious! and I’m writing this because I feel people do not believe that I’m happy and satisfied now. It really tickles me to see them putting on a sad appearance when i sometimes comment on their "attached" status and my "single" status. Really, my friends, I am not sad that I do not have a guy by my side. That's because I’m so surrounded by all my good friends and my family that I don’t have the time to spare for any other guy. And there's a saying that goes "what you never have, you'll never miss". I think this best describe my case.
Recently someone told me that I strike her as a very confident person. Is this true to you all? well, maybe because all this while, I’ve seen and heard so much about other people's relationships that I sort of understand how relationships goes. I cannot say that I’m an expert on this area as I had not experience any before. But sometimes u heard so much of the same typical things that becoming partners become meaningless. In fact, sometimes it even bores me. So when it happens to me, I want it to be magical! Explosive!! Haha! And that can only happen if we really really love each other. So I’m still waiting. (No, no, don't give me that sad face. smile!)
Last time this guy friend from ODAC told me that they treat me as a buddy and like I'm one of them. Damn, I feel so HONOURED! *laughs* I like this title more than being their dream girl or something. So although I don’t have any boyfriends, I do have a lot of boy friends. And I'm sure they will last longer than any other guy. *smiles*
So next time we talk, don't feel sad for me or anything. Because being single is ok with me. I don't have guys messing up my time, my feelings and my relationships with family and friends. If you put your hand around my shoulder, it feels like an insult to me! It’s like u pity me. And it's wasted because I don need it. Being single lets me gains independence and confidence. I don't want to let my life to be run by a guy. Until the right one comes along, I will be living my life happily, this I can assure you! Who ever sees me mope for a guy everyday? Haha!
