I'm so hyped up! I’ve just finish watching “So you think you can dance?” and I'm feeling so excited! To see the way they dance, phew, they just blew me away. I want to swirl, jump, leap, spilt, shake my booty like them! How I wish I had taken dancing lessons when I was young. Right now, I feel like waltzing my way to a dance studio for lessons. We were waltzing together, to a dreamy melody. Yeah, if I was to dance, I want to waltz.
Another news that got me jumping is that my dad is going to GET A CAR!! *Cheers!* I'm so happy! After 10 years without the comfort of a personal car, I am so looking forward to having our own four wheels drive again. And…. *grins devilishly* I'm going to get my license and slowly….and slowly, the car will be MINE! *Cackles wildly* But nah, unless my dad decides suddenly to become so generous, it is a far fetch dream of mine.
Well, the final news that gets my adrenaline pumping is that I’ve decided to go to Perth! Yea!! At first I thought I'm going to Hong Kong with my clique but in the end, due to various reasons, it seems that there is only me and Birdie going. So since there’s only the two of us, we decided to go to Perth! It will be my first time taking a flight longer than 1 hour (the last time I took a flight was when I was in primary school and I went to Penang) and I’ll be leaving Asia! Woohoo! Although I'm damn excited about this trip, I wish the rest of the girls will be joining us…

This and that
I've haven been blogging for a long time. It's not that I do not want to blog but I’m just plain L-A-Z-Y. Sometimes things happen to me and I go, "I must blog about this!" But in the end, I did not even want to switch on the computer out of plain laziness.
Finally, I force myself to seat down and here I am, writing furiously away. Well, there must be something to look back to when I’m old right? =p
Anyway, I sign up for the teaching degree in NTU. Guess who help me with the appraisal? My 2nd director! I think that I’m real lucky to enter this company. My 2nd director even offer to help me secure bank loans if I need the money to study overseas. I was really touched when he offer to lend a helping a hand. Not like that bitch who kicked me in the face last year when I received my results.
There are a lot of things that happen to me everyday but right now, I just can’t think of any interesting to put down. Oh ya! I have just discover, there are things such as nails mask, eye lashes vitamins, liquid to drop into the space between your nails and tip of your finger to prevent fungal growth, scalp lotion, etc etc. I did not know I have to get so busy to maintain my looks! They say there are no ugly girls on earth, only lazy ones. I say there are no ugly girls on earth, only poor ones! The money we pour into the cosmetic line! Seriously, I rather spend my time sleeping than doing all the facial, firming and what have you. I really admire those girls who go through such daily regime. Maybe I will be enthusiastic for the first few weeks but once the novelty wore off, I will be back to my sloppish and lazy ways. Anyway, I want to be reborn as a guy next time. No more of these nonsense then! *Cheers* But then again, maybe 20-30 years down the road, the guys will be doing facials, firming and the rest of the crap. *Shudders*
Well, think I’ll just stop here. Can’t think of anything to write. Maybe I should blog more next time. *Smile sheepishly* When I'm not so lazy…..

Happy 20th Birthday to ME!
I finally hit the big "2"! Life really passes very fast! I was in primary four ten years ago and now I'm applying for university already. Times flies. Can't help feeling happy and sad at the same time. Happy that I've grown up and sad that I must leave my childhood behind and embrace this world where people are not as happy, carefree, honest, naive, etc etc.
Anyway, I have lots of photos taken from my birthday celebrations! Yes, it's celebrations with a 's'. Can't help it, I'm so popular.. *Smug look* Haha!
23rd Feb 2006
Ember Restaurant. Lunch with my colleages.

My Boss is not around because he is afraid I may feel awkward at his presence. BUT he will pick up the bill. So sweet!!
23rd feb 2006
Jurong Point. Dinner with Wan Lin, Ming Fen and Wanting (You can't see me coz I look damn ugly in that photo. =p)

24th Feb 2006
Tokyo Garden with my beloved Enemies!

The Restaurant even prepared a bowl of mian xian (longevity noodles) for me! Top Service!
And..... I can't help but cried a little when I saw this.

Huli: Girl, I can't help but be amazed at your creativity. The fish is so cute! (Though I don't like the red veins in the eyes. My eyes are not like that k? I accidentally scratched my eyeball, leaving a red line.) Feel like giving you a kiss too!
Birdie: I also wanna thank you for letting me talk non stop during the first few weeks of work when I had no one to talk to during office hours. You've kept me sane during that time. *Hugs* I'm so glad that you're going to stay until June! Now, there will be someone for me to tease all the way to June, thank you Dippo!!
Jaws: Ahh, a poet. Did you write that poem yourself? And that picture of Elvin is sooo nice! *Laughs* I also hoped that when we qi lao ba shi, we're still very fast friends. Pray hard. I remembered that time when we were in Birdie's house making cheese cake, we were in the kitchen while ah bun and xiao pang were in the living room entertaining the kids and I wish at that point of time, that when we are really qi lao bai shi, we will hold these kind of gatherings where we will bake cakes, gossip, while Ah Bun and Xiao Pang will take care of our kids in the living room. A nice dream...
Jia Yu: Thank you for the cd! It's real sweet of you and I LOVE the songs inside! I know about the troubles that you faced last year and I'm glad that through your determination, you have solved most of them and I'm proud of you! I think I will just go into pieces if I were you. But next time, don't keep all your troubles to yourself, ya? Like I said before, talk it out and the seven of us can discuss how to solve the problems. Having seven brains beat having just one right? =)
Ah Bun: Your handwriting is as challenging as ever! Luckily I have lots of experience reading your handwriting. *Laughs* I want to thank you for thinking so highly of me! I don't think that I'm that good, really. But it's nice when someone think like that of you. *Smiles* Next time when my mum cooks a lot of food, I will definitely ask you and Xiao Pang over since both of you request the same thing! My mum will be flattered...
Xiao Pang: You make me LAUGH like I never did before!! The photoshop picture of us, my god, they are really horrendous! I'm glad we don't look like that in real life. *Laughs* Thank you for splattering your notes with pictures of Elvin! It makes reading your words a little distracting though. Keke! I also feel like crying when I saw what you had wrote. Words just can't describe how thankful I am to have as my friend.
My Enemies' gift for me

I've been wanting the seven dwarfs jigsaw for THREE years!

Flirty and Flithy Old Men
An old man tried to flirt with me!! Well, I think it's hardly surprising because I doubt that even old man will be able to resist my charm. *Pouts* Haha! Seriously I think that most old men are "flirty" or rather, very ji go bei (pervertic). Haven't they realise by now that unless they're rich, no girls will give a damn about them? No matter how gentle they speak to us, how they look us in the eyes, how they smile, it only stir up queasiness in us and not interest, not even a teeny drop of it! Argh! I still feel so disgusted the moment I thought of how that old man tried to flirt with me! Hello uncle, I can only see lust in your eyes and a pervertic smile! Stop it! Otherwise I don't know what I'll do next time!
.....................................................................................
First is the flirty uncle, which I consider is the milder case of the two. I'm really unlucky this week to bump into two thick skinned and deprived uncles! I was on my way to work on wednesday morning when I met the flithy one. let's named him "Mr Weak", I will explain why later on.
I was dozing off on the bus when the bus suddenly jerked and something soft press against my arm. I opened my eyes and saw this uncle, Mr Weak, standing beside my seat, facing me. I thought it was an accident that he bumped into me and I just let it passed. BUT this incident kept repeating over and over again throughout the bus journey! I was so damn pissed! I almost ALMOST stood up, grabbed his collar and yelled at him! But I realised that although he kept using his front to bump into me, it feels soft and not hard. Two senarios pop into my mind and I sort of pitied Mr Weak.
1) His belly is blocking the way. Thus, whenever he bump into me, I only feel his soft beer belly instead of his p*nis. Thank god! Now I know why middle age man develop belly. The creator of man( not neccesarily god) must had devise this way to protect young girls like me. Smart work, whoever you are!! So girls, next time don't despise those with beer bellies, those extra layer of fats protects you!
2) Mr Weak lives up to his name. If that is the case, he really needs to see the doctor or take Viagra. If he knocked into me so many times and yet his "brother" is still asleep, Mr Weak really deserves some sympathy. Don't you think so? *Sighs*
In case you want to know, I switched my seat after a few stops. I had no intention to wait for Mr Weak's brother to wake up.

Work Is Depressing
Ok, I'm gonna sound stupid in this entry. Damn, work is depressing! I have no one to chat and I need to talk! I just cannot stand loneliness. Well, as if knowing my need to talk, boss instruct me to call up clients and update their particulars. *Screams* I'm TERRIFIED of calling strangers up! Other than this aspect of work that is killing me, the high heels I'm wearing to work is also killing me, literally. I really admire those girls who strut around in their high heels with no pain registered on their faces. What kind of Kung Fu did they learn?! Sign me up please! My feet looks like octopus tentacles! You know those suckers thingies on the tentacles? My blisters are beginning to look horribly like those suckers! Never realise that blisters can grow up to that size. My god, work is depressing!
*Sighs* Going to write down my office resolutions now.
1) You're going to act cheerful and greet everyone politely in the morning.
2) You're going to speak loudly so that they can hear you and greet back.
3) Let the blisters burst and heal and form and burst and heal and... Someday you're going to acquire that Kung Fu of wearing heels.
4) Do not stutter in front of ur caucasian boss. Heck, he speaks english fluently but that doesn't make him more superior. Can he speak chinese? At least you speak two languages! Ha!
5) Don't be so painfully shy! Learn from xiao pang! Haha!
6) Learn not to make careless mistakes and ask less questions. I know you're getting irritated to have to keep asking questions, not to mention ur superiors.
7) Try to be less stress. Getting stomachache every morning is a bad sign.
8) Get something to drink! Don't be so polite! I know you're very thristy though u don't talk much.
9) Speak slower on the phone and sound more confident. It's not about the tenses and grammer but about the confidence.
10) Talk to that cute IT guy.
Enjoy my work.. Enjoy my work.. ENJOY MY WORK!

From Boys To Men
My little brother has grown up. Finally it is his turn to protect our country.
Went to send him off to be enlisted in the Special Operation Tactic Center yesterday. They prepared a programme to ensure the parents that their sons are in good hands so not to worry too much about them. I must say that the orientation programme does lessen my worries about sending my brother to become a commando. At first they showed us a video about NS life with a male singer crooning to some corny song about protecting the country in the background. Then we tour around the army facilities and I must say that the army really do look after the soldiers welfare. Their gym is really impressive and their food, though ordinary, doesn't look like what one of my older friend told me. Once, my chicken was half cooked and there was still blood in it. I once drank water that taste like detergent. Blah blah blah... And my dad also took the chance to complain, or show off, about his torturing NS days. To hear him go on, it seems that he slept on bed of nails, had faeces for meals, sadistic officers, used his head to clean toiletbowls... *Laugh* I can't help exaggerating lar.
When it's time to say goodbye, I realised that chinese family is not well-known for public affections even when they yearn to. I only gave my bro a squeeze on the shoulders. My mum, ha!, shook his hand! Made me laugh out loud. My brother, seeing this unusual form of saying goodbye, made it funnier by wishing her happy new year! Weird family...
I can see that my brother is excited about his national service. After all, this spells a new chapter in his life. He will go through something that was not taught and experienced during his school days. I guess us, girls, will never have the chance to gain those experiences. Pity..

The Pink Sky
I saw a breathtaking sight just now. I was using the computor, feeling decidedly bored when my brother walked into my room and said, " Look at the sky". I turned and saw that our neighboorhood is bathed in pink! The light cast a pinkish glow on everything. The blocks of flats, the trees, the cars... Even though I was sitting just next to my window playing the computor, I didn't realise that there's something so beautiful just right outside.
Sometimes, we are so caught up with our life that we miss out on the very things that make life worth living. Maybe it's time we slow down and look around us. Who knows, maybe the most amazing thing is just right beside you. =)

Food Review
Ahh, here's something I will enjoy writing about. FOOD!
This restaurant ranked top in my list of favourite restaurants. It is the Tokyo Garden restaurant located at The Village, South Buona Vista road. My family has been patronising this Japanese restaurants once every 2 to 3 months, simply because the food rocks and the service is warm. The sashimi moriwase is the best I ever tasted for the the fish slices are very fresh and is slice thinly so it just melts in your mouth. The potato salad and chawamunshi are also must try! The food are also very carefully arrange on the dishes to look delectable. Anyway, I took some photos of some of the dishes we ordered yesterday.

Actually these are not the best dishes that we ate yesterday. The trouble is that once the food came, we sort of forget (or choose to ignore) to take pictures of the sashimi, yaki seafood ramen, the japanese tofu and the sesame ice-cream, etc, etc. By the way, I love the sesame ice-cream! It's so different and nice, taste a bit like peanuts but still different. It is something the chef whips up himself. *Drools*
Anyway people, if you feel like having japanese crusine, you can check this place out! Good food and good service are the reasons why it attracts my family to keep returning!
(p.s. Xiao pang, it's not guys lar.. Haha! But still your favourite?)

The Sleeping Illness
Do you know what's my biggest enjoyment during the exam periods? It is sleeping. It is the time when I can forget all about the stupid maths formulas which are useless in real life, the theories about why such and such happen, GP arguments, etc etc. Thus, I really look forward to sleeping everyday and even daydream about sleeping my days away after my exams.
However, now, (what the hell!) I'm suffering from insomnia! It pisses me off! Finally I have the time to sleep and I can't! So I began asking around and even surf the net for solutions. Here's 4 of them which I tried and, sadly, I declare them useless.
1) The typical "count the sheeps" method. It's boring, dry, dull, blah blah.. And you need to have a good memory for doing this. "1, 2, 3, this is stupid, 4, 5, ..., 150, can't believe I'm doing this, now is it 151 or 152? Heck! 153, 154, 155, 156, I'm getting angry, why am I not sleeping? Isn't method suppose to work? Now where am I?!" See, this happen to me so I declare this method, DUMB!
2) Drink a glass of warm milk before you sleep. But damn! Eating before sleeping makes you FAT! Next!
3) Listen to music. Rock music is definitely out in this case. Woodwinds or lullabies may do the trick but the way the singers croon and whine irritates me. Solution: switch off the radio and continue to sulk.
4) Go to bed only when drowsy. Duh!
What to do? What to do? Make me sleep!

This past year
How do I begin? I have stopped updating my entry for this past year, trying to get my life back. I never thought such unhappiness would descent upon me. I thought all along that i will be able to sail through my life. Enter a secondary school, then to a junior college, graduate from university and then get a good job. But now I realise that life don't always turn out to be what you expected it to be.
It's hard to be left behind. It's hard to want to cry but can't coz I know that crying won't help. It's hard to enter a class who knows that you are left behind. It's hard to bear the jeerings.
So what can I do? In the end, I refuse to write down what had happen to me during this year. I remembered this conversation with anita:
Anita why have u stopped writing your diary?
Me I do not like writing about unhappy stuffs.
Anita Then write about good stuffs! There should be happy stuffs to write about right?
I had no answer for her
I guess life will never be the same for me again; never felt such insecurities before.

That Darn Job
Think some of you must have known that I'm waiting for the Vet opposite my house to call me. For those who don’t know, I thought of working for the Vet opposite my house so I can save on the transportation fees and because of all the dogs I can get to see and touch if I get to work there. Well, when my friend and I got down to ask whether they want to hire any part-timers, they tell us to call their operation manager. That’s last week and now, the manager is always not there or she’s too busy to answer my call whenever I called. Argh! I'm getting so frustrated! There’s a lot of things I can’t give an answer to my friends because I don’t know if I'm working by that time. And I don’t like the way this job hunting drags on. It’s a waste of time and money!!
Sometimes I really wondered. We are friends for quite some time already and why some still don’t understand me. My character, my moods, my thinking… Did circumstances bring us together or did fate?

All About Being Single
Well, I don't really know how to start writing this but I think I’m going to be real straightforward about this. So, not beating around the bush, I'm going to tell everyone about my feelings now.
I think most of you know that I haven't step into any boy-girl relationships before. Well, some may think that it's weird that somebody can manage to stay single for so long. If I can choose, of cause I will not choose to remain single. But it's very difficult to develop mutual feelings for each other, at least in my case. So I remain single till now.
However, the thing is, I’m not unhappy or unsatisfied! Serious! and I’m writing this because I feel people do not believe that I’m happy and satisfied now. It really tickles me to see them putting on a sad appearance when i sometimes comment on their "attached" status and my "single" status. Really, my friends, I am not sad that I do not have a guy by my side. That's because I’m so surrounded by all my good friends and my family that I don’t have the time to spare for any other guy. And there's a saying that goes "what you never have, you'll never miss". I think this best describe my case.
Recently someone told me that I strike her as a very confident person. Is this true to you all? well, maybe because all this while, I’ve seen and heard so much about other people's relationships that I sort of understand how relationships goes. I cannot say that I’m an expert on this area as I had not experience any before. But sometimes u heard so much of the same typical things that becoming partners become meaningless. In fact, sometimes it even bores me. So when it happens to me, I want it to be magical! Explosive!! Haha! And that can only happen if we really really love each other. So I’m still waiting. (No, no, don't give me that sad face. smile!)
Last time this guy friend from ODAC told me that they treat me as a buddy and like I'm one of them. Damn, I feel so HONOURED! *laughs* I like this title more than being their dream girl or something. So although I don’t have any boyfriends, I do have a lot of boy friends. And I'm sure they will last longer than any other guy. *smiles*
So next time we talk, don't feel sad for me or anything. Because being single is ok with me. I don't have guys messing up my time, my feelings and my relationships with family and friends. If you put your hand around my shoulder, it feels like an insult to me! It’s like u pity me. And it's wasted because I don need it. Being single lets me gains independence and confidence. I don't want to let my life to be run by a guy. Until the right one comes along, I will be living my life happily, this I can assure you! Who ever sees me mope for a guy everyday? Haha!

Class bbq
My group's power is acting up again! Whenever we gather together, some things will happen. For example, car accidents, boy falling off the railing at esplanade, people getting trap in lifts, the westmall murder case, etc, etc. Come pay your respect to my group, we are the jinx of mankind! *evil laughs*
Today we had our class barbeque at puisin's condo. At around 10plus, the security guard came to tell us to pack up and leave. Actually this is ok but he went on to quote that there's this unit which complain about us being noisy. Well, one of my friends got very angry and went to speak to the family making the complain. Turns out that the security guard was telling lies as that family had not complain about us! To cut a long story short, the family made a police report as this is not the first time they had conflict with the security guard. Of course, this affair spoiled the mood of everyone. *shakes head*
Actually I rather admire the one who went up to inquire about the complain. If she never went up, the family will be the victim of the many future lies the security made to other residents. Due to her "rash" behavior, she do justice to that family. If our roles are switched, I will not do anything because I will not want the matter to be blown up. But sometimes, we cannot just shrink back and let things happen. Must take the initiative to pursue something.
I'm going to talk on another matter that is pressing on me. Recently there's a lot of mistrust going on around me. Friends starts to mistrust each other. Argh! I'm so confused! It seems like people are forcing me to trust someone and to doubt my close friends. Why are there suddenly so many backstabbing and lies going around? I don't want to question my friends. If they are speaking the truth, they will feel hurt that I had doubt them in the first place. Yet I'll be so disappointed if I realise that they had lied to me. Friends kept asking me what should they do but I can't possibly tell them. I tried not to be drag into their affairs yet now I'm stuck in the middle. I want to get out! But I guess it's not possible now.
Damn. I feel so guilty. I felt like I betrayed my friend too. And I might have just spoiled someone's relationship. Sorry, I guess I'm just a BITCH.

Prom Dress
I went to Topshop to get my prom dress today with xiao mei. Finally found one! It's a black halter neck dress. The price is a pleasant surprise, the dress only cost 60 bucks, which is like half of what i'm preparing to spend.
Though I bought this dress, actually there's one that really steal my heart away. It's also a black halter neck but it's make of leather. But I chose the other dress because if I were to wear this, I cannot wear any BRA! The front of the skirt really show of your cleavage, that is if you have any. It's those kind of dress that sets mothers' head shaking and bitches' tongues to start wagging. Well, I don't want people coming up to me asking whether am I wearing any bra. Also, I want people to look at me when I speak to them and not look at my bosom. So I sadly reject the dress. *sniffs*

The Best Christmas gift
I think the nicest christmas gifts are those that came unexpected. Those that are left at your door step without a name. Those that someone took a lot of trouble to prepare or to deliver to you. Those that reminds you that someone treasures your friendship. And this year the nicest christmas gift came in the form of Hershey's chocolates. *smiles*

2004 Christmas Gathering
I had not laughed so much for such a long time. I think yesterday's gathering really cheers me up a lot! Those peeps are really funny! We went Jack's Place for dinner. Actually the food is not very expensive, I think it's quite affordable. So...anyone wants to go there and eat? *grins cheekily*
We had this practice for three years already. Three years! Time past so fast! But I'm glad that all of us made the effort to meet up. Although we only meet up maybe twice a year, I'm glad that we still feel as comfortable with each other. Kimpeng is still forever teased by us. Joey is still as cute as ever. Rong yue is still as bitchy. Jane is still as tomboyish. Wei Lun is still as quiet though he tried making some lame jokes. Hui yuan is still as serious. Really love this group!
By the way, yesterday's Joey's birthday! Happy birthday Joey!!

Ubin Trip
Here I am, with a glass of cold chocolate milk, alone in my room when everyone's asleep. I just love to have a glass of milk late in the night, it makes me feel so pampered. Haha! Make no sense right?
Anyway, I just came back from camping overnight at Pulau Ubin. Though this is not our first time camping there, but it's the first time that we can camp there without any obligations, meaning we don't have a bunch of juniors under our wings. Therefore, i reeaaallly look forward to this camp-over.
But maybe we are so relaxed in this trip that we forgot to pack two most important things. One is the mosquito repellent, a MUST in Ubin. The packs of mosquitoes are really ferocious, like some crazed Singaporeans at those buffet restaurants. So now I’m suffering from our negligence, vigorously scratching my 20 something "love bites" from the mosquitoes while I’m typing this.
The second most important object is torch lights! Gosh, I really wonder how can we forget such an important item as there are no street lights or whatever luxury in Ubin. But maybe it’s our forgetfulness that leads us to an experience of a lifetime.
You see, we decided to go to the eatery for dinner which is located at the jetty. But our tents are pitched at Mamam Beach, which is some distance away from the jetty. After our dinner, it's already around 8pm. Ubin at 8pm is really dark. You can just feel the blackness covers you, sometimes making it harder to breathe (well, that’s actually due to the fear). The whole bunch of us only has a torch. But luckily, we got those light sticks which will glow when they are broke. So we each have one "bangle" light stick on each hand. The one leading the way has the torch, so he became our eyes.
It's really exciting by then. When we cycle into the forest, all we can see is the "bangle" light sticks wore by each cyclist in front of us and nothing else, not even the edge of the road. We must follow closely as we do not want to get lost in the dark forest. At that point in time, I learn to trust my friends whole heartedly. Usually if I’m dumped in a dark area, I will be too scared to move. But at that time, I knew I have to keep cycling because I knew I can trust that friend in front of me and because the line of friends behind me trusted me to follow the way.
Thru this incident, I’m really really glad to have that bunch of good friends, knowing that I can trust them no matter what happen. And that we can work together and make sure each other is safe. Even when at that time we actually got lost because we missed a junction due to the darkness, there's no blaming of the person leading and we still trust him to lead us back to the right way.
Thank god I have such good friends whom I can share these hair-raising adventures with. I hope to keep them forever by my side. :)
